Providing support for a diverse range of complaints

Knee arthroscopy is the preferred technique to treat a range of disorders.

It is most commonly used in the repair or excision of torn cartilage or meniscus and in the reconstruction of ligaments after injury – especially the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL).

Knee arthroscopy is also used in the management of loose bodies, synovitis, arthritis of the patella-femoral joint, and in cartilage restorative procedures.

Patients requiring urgent attention for acute knee injuries can be seen within one to two days of making an appointment. Where required, urgent surgery can be scheduled, minimising the chance of secondary injury.
